SwedCham HK appoints Gabriella Augustsson Chief Executive Officer


The Swedish Chamber of Commerce Hong Kong appointed Gabriella Augustsson Chief Executive Officer of the Chamber and she will take up her post in January 2022.

According to the Chamber, Gabriella has extensive experience in leadership roles in high intensity environments in the areas of communication, promotion, event management and diplomacy. She has worked for the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 2003 as well as in the Swedish Embassies in London, Washington DC and Beijing where she has developed new ways of working with outreach and has led many companies to promote Sweden as a whole.

Most recently, she was responsible for national branding and cultural promotion at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Stockholm. Gabriella was also a member of the board of directors of Sweden Expo 2020 in Dubai and the representative of Sweden at the Bureau International des Expositions.
