dentsu HK taps Napoleon Biggs as chief consultant

Advertising giant Densu International Hong Kong has appointed Napoleon Biggs as its new chief consultant. He will report to Simone Tam, CEO of dentsu International Hong Kong. Biggs will provide consulting services to marketers to evolve their organizations in a digital-dominated world, and help fuel the growth of Densu’s C-level suite customers and executives. He is responsible for driving integrated solutions for dentsu’s core clients, leveraging the agency’s full suite of offerings across three service lines: creative, media and CXM.

“Hong Kong’s industry is calling for both creative and data-driven ways to engage its various stakeholders. And we’re teaming up to make it happen! said Biggs of her new role.

With over 25 years of experience in digital marketing and technology innovation, Biggs will provide strategy and practical advice on digital transformation, omnichannel commerce, data leadership and new forms of business, culture and digital entertainment, such as Web3, Metaverse and NFTs.

Biggs is also experienced in launching and growing his own startups and has advised over 100 clients in a wide range of industries, from aviation (airlines) to zoos. Leveraging his industry connections and media accolades, he also created “Web Wednesday”, a premier networking community for internet entrepreneurs and digital media executives. The digital pioneer community currently has over 7,000 members.

Additionally, Biggs is a regular speaker on technology trends and digital disruption at international and regional conferences and has taught courses at the University of Hong Kong, Singapore Art Council, Omnicom University in Singapore and China. , Yonsei University in Korea and Google Squared. Biggs also speaks Cantonese, Mandarin, Japanese, French and Spanish.

Separately, dentsu APAC recently made some leadership changes, appointing Christina Lee as Chief Technology Officer, effective April 4. Lee is based in Hong Kong and reports to dentsu’s Global Technical Director, Dominic Shine, and serves on the Global and APAC leadership teams.
