The Department of Management at CUHK Business School invites applications for tenure-track position(s) at the Assistant Professor level. We welcome applications from new doctoral students. experienced graduates and assistant professors who are committed to high quality scholarships specializing in areas such as entrepreneurship, innovation management, leadership, human resource management, organizational behavior, sustainability and strategic management.

Candidates must hold a doctorate in management or a related discipline; have a publication record corresponding to the years of experience; and be strongly committed to excellence in scholarly research, teaching, and service.

Responsibilities include publishing high-quality scholarly research; teach undergraduate and/or graduate management courses; and participation in academic and professional activities. The nominee(s) are also encouraged to seek external funding to support research efforts.

Salary and benefits

Appointments will initially be made on a contractual basis for a maximum of three years from 2023, which, subject to mutual agreement, may lead to a longer-term appointment or subsequent justification.

The salary will be very competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. The University provides a comprehensive benefits package, including medical care and housing benefits for eligible appointees.
